This STUNNING spring engagement shoot in downtown KC checked off ALL my boxes as photographer! Gorgeous and totally in love couple with a cute love story? Check. Perfect spring day during golden hour? Check. My fav locations around downtown KC that just capture the VIBE? Double check!!! Capturing a moment in a photo is so much more than just being able to take good pictures and edit them well. You’ve also got to know your couple, keep your eye on the perfect timing for lighting, AND know your city inside and out! I loved getting to capture these two around a couple of my favorite spots in Kansas City, and they definitely showed up ready for the assignment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Weekend Getaway to Downtown KC: The Perfect Time for an Engagement Shoot!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alexis and RJ were just bringing ALL THE FEELS during this shoot! They are childhood sweethearts (how cute is that?!?) and are currently planning their Illinois wedding for June of 2024. They contacted me while planning a getaway in downtown KC and knew it would be the perfect time to get their engagement photos taken! I immediately got to work planning out a couple of locations that fit the vibe they were going for. And the results… well take a look for yourself! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
