Oh my GOSH! These two! Miranda + Tracer’s fall engagement photos were an absolute blast to capture. I love when my couples want to show off their personalities and with their location choices, they do just that! Having both city and park photos brought so much variety to their session. From their outfit choices, one being more dressy and the other more casual and then the time of day we started. We timed it just right to get that golden November sun at sunset. Chef’s kiss!

I absolutely love this time we get to spend together. The awkward part is always the beginning, but by the end of your session we are the best of friends and the goal is to make you feel super comfortable and confident for your wedding day! I approach engagement photos and posing very naturally. I will get you all set up. To where your bodies are facing, where to put your hands, where to look and even what to say to each other to get the most natural reactions. My goal is to capture your unique personalities and showcase what your relationship is actually like on a day-to-day basis. These aren’t just photos for your save-the-date. They are moments that display the anticipation of your marriage and the sweet and intimate moments that fall in between!

From City to Country: Miranda and Tracer’s Locations

Miranda and Tracer wanted to include two different styles and locations in their session, which I absolutely LOVED! The first location showcased an elegant and more formal style in Downtown Kansas City. The second location had more of a relaxed and casual vibe with these candid and intimate shots taken at Shawnee Mission Park. Both locations and outfits were so fun to experiment with! When you have a good variety, it gives you more opportunity for creativity throughout the session. You’re able to explore the various sides of your style and love story! Another bonus to this is having variety in styles to choose from for your save-the-date, wedding website, or prints to display in your home.
